Annual Events
Here at the ELKS, we have lots of events to keep you busy year round. Some of them are just for fun, while others are critical fundraisers that allow us to continue our charitable works throughout our country. Here's just a few of our events that you can count on almost every year if you are a member in good standing.
March/April - Easter Egg Hunt
Fun Easter Egg hunt for members, families and hosted guest. Hosted by the Ladies of the Elks.
April - Inaugural Ball
This event is normally held in April. Celebrate and honor our new Exalted Ruler and the all members that have stepped up into a critical role for the coming year.
June - Family Picnic
Jeanette Mundy Memorial Family Picnic is a traditional family BBQ for the whole family. Kids activities, flag raising, good eats, games for all ages and more.
June - Flag Day
We host a public ceremony celebrating the meaning of freedom in our country and celebrate its symbol, our great flag.
July - Columbia County Fair
Elks 1999 built and manages the Beer Garden at our fairgrounds. We work it tirelessly as it's typically the single biggest fundraiser all year and it takes everyone to make it a success.
July - Annual Cruise-In
Our annual car show brings people from all over to admire the dozens of beautiful car entries. Food, fun and awards all day long - hosted right in our parking lot.
August - Hayride
This is our once a year bash that we throw ourselves - for our members only. It's a celebration and thank you for everyone's hard work all year. A 3 day country bash that includes food, games, drinks, fun and literal hayrides!
October - Monster Bash
Leave the kids at home for this annual event that allows members and guests to cut loose and enjoy the live band, games and more. Oh - and come in costume as there will be a contest!
November - Holiday Food Basket
Everyone pitches in by donating food or funds so that we can pull together huge food deliveries for 20 + families in need right here in our county during the holidays
December - Christmas Ships
Enjoy the incredible view from our Lodge deck and watch the Christmas Ship parade while enjoying some festive drinks. Fun for the whole family.
December - Kids Christmas
One of our biggest gifts back to the community each year. Our Elks family raise funds and gather gifts for the foster children in Columbia County. We host a fun party for them to meet Santa and get spoiled with not one, but multiple Christmas gifts. The wonder and smiles make this worth it times 1000.
December - New Year's Eve
Ring in the new year with your brothers and sisters at the ELKS. We have a party with music, raffles, dancing, food and, of course, a countdown to midnight!
